Summerhill Apartment - Quirky Design

This stylish two bedroom flat in Newcastle, which dates to around 1900 was a dream project on. This gorgeous property has lots of open spaces, and gave me a chance to add many stunning touches. The style is quite eclectic with a mixture of vintage and modern as well as nature inspired pieces, plus lots of texture, pops of colour and travel motifs. From an empty shell to vibrant entertaining space, this project is a living proof that a defined colour palette and a bit of confidence can go a long way.

Interior Design: Project

Longbenton Flat - Chic And Sophisticated

The owners of this space sought to create a relaxed, quirky but grown-up space. Stylish furnishings and the innovative use of form and colour meet the challenge. By using a soft colour palette as a background I could go wild with accent colours on the furniture. All furniture was bought from local charity shops and restored to high quality pieces. By selecting warm colours that complement each other I managed to add a few quirky accents such as pallet walls, copper light fitting or even simple things like plants to help to pull the look together and matches the scheme in the rest of the room. I dressed up this space with a fun yet, sophisticated decor that is ready to impress.
